Unlike many agencies, who put a price tag on a property way above the sellers asking price, we at Spanishtree display the price that the seller has asked for.
We make sure that the asking price is reasonable and reflects the market. We in turn charge the buyer 2% of the final purchase price.
Legal fees usually work out at 0.25% of the purchase price (min around €500) and this should include all the notary costs.
Please note that sterling (£) prices shown on the site are only an approximate guide. Such prices are subject to change in line with currency exchange rates.
And lastly the property transfer and stamp duty tax which is payable directly to the government and is 7%. So in total budget for an extra 10% of the purchase price to cover all the costs of buying in Spain.
